Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq have won the toss and opted to bat against Sri Lanka in the first one-day international in Sharjah.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the two sub-continent powerhouse, face each other in the first of the five-ODI series in Sharjah.

Both the sides are coming into the series after drawing the two-match T20 series 1-1. But Pakistan are more match-ready than their counterparts as they had two back-to-back series (home and away) against South Africa and the good result in South Africa would have done wonders to the team's confidence. But then, unpredictability and Pakistan always go hand in hand.
