Jeevan Mendis scored 37 off 17 and stitched a record 66-run stand for the fifth wicket for Sri Lanka with Ajantha Mendis. Thisara Perera's blitz (22 off just seven) in the death overs put Sri Lanka in the driving seat at Pallekele. Bangladesh need 199-run to win against Sri Lanka now.
