End of over 21: South Africa 104/5 Rain again played spoilsport to hand Sri Lanka their second victory in the five-match series as South Africa finished 17 runs behind the par score in 21 overs when rain halted the game for one final time.

End of over 20: South Africa 95/5 With rain in sight again, Dinesh Chandimal brought back Lasith Malinga in the 19th over and he conceded just a single in the over leaving South Africa (95/5) well behind the the par score.

End of over 15: South Africa 76/5 T Dilshan was introduced into the attack in the 11th over and the part-timer got rid off AB de Villiers for 12 in the 13th and Rangana Herath continued his terrific form with the ball in the shorter format scalping Faf du Plessis in the next over for 8. South Africa once again seemed to surrender to spin losing five wickets for 76 in 15 overs.

End of over 10: South Africa 56/3 Thisara Perera got the wicket of Jean Paul Duminy in only his second over for 15 after which Rangana Herath got rid off set batsman Alviro Petersen in the 10 over.

End of over 5: South Africa 30/1 Chasing 176 in 29 overs, Lasith Malinga scalped Robin Peteron early in the first over but Alviro Petersen and JP Duminy got a few boundaries as South Africa reached 30 for 1 in five overs.

End of over 49.2: Sri Lanka lost way in the death overs losing three wickets posting 218 runs for the lost of 8 wickets in 49.2 overs before heavy downpour ended the Sri Lankan innings.

End of over 40: Sri Lanka 167 for 5
Sri Lanka continued to struggle against some disciplined bowing from South Africa. Runs were hard to come by amidst skipper Dinesh Chandimal and Jehan Mubarak's positive intent. Thirimanne was dismissed in the 37th over for 13 off Ryan McLaren to further extend Lanka's worries.

End of over 30: Sri Lanka 123 for 4:
Sri Lanka suffered a massive set back with both Jayawardene and Dilshan departing in quick successions. Jayawardene fell to Robin Peterson for 17 while attempting a wild reverse-sweep whereas Dilshan nicked one to the keeper off Morkel for 43.

End of over 25: Sri lanka 103 for 2:
Kumar Sangakkara scored a useful 37 and chipped in with a 59-run partnership with Tillakaratne Dilshan before he was dismissed caught by Alviro Petersen off Aaron Phangiso in the 18th over. Sri Lanka still hold the command with Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene looking good in the middle.

End of over 20: Sri Lanka 75 for 2
Mahela Jayawardene and Tillakaratne Dilshan carried the Sri Lankan innings forward with some good running between the wickets and putting the bad balls away to the boundary. Sri Lanka crossed the 100-run mark with both batsmen looking at ease.

End of over 15: Sri Lanka 56 for 1: After losing the wicket of Upul Tharanga in the fourth over Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan consolidated the Sri Lankan innings and had a steady partnership.

TOSS: We had the toss after a delay of 30 minutes. It was won by Sri Lanka who opted to bat.

TEAM NEWS: South Africa left out Colin Ingram for Hashim Amla. Sri Lanka remained unchanged from the first ODI.

WEATHER: Expected to remain overcast for most part, with possible showers.

Down 0-1 in the five-match series, the tourists will look to the return of Hashim Amla to bolster their chances of drawing level. South Africa were hammered by 180 runs in the first ODI.
