New Delhi: Rising Pune Supergiant skipper Steven Smith took some time off from the hectic Indian Premier League (IPL) schedule in order to spend some time with his family. The Australian made used of a short break between the matches and flew out to Dubai to recharge his batteries.
The Pune side didn't have the best of starts in the tenth edition of the tournament and are currently placed at the bottom half of the league table. In the five matches the RPS have played so far, they have won two and lost three.
Skipper Smith has been attracting criticism for his team's performance so far, especially after he was made the captain of the team following the removal of fan favourite MS Dhoni.
Smith has made the most of six-day gap between Pune's fifth and sixth game in order to take some pressure off his mind and body.
The Aussie posted a picture on social media to tell his fans about his whereabouts and also posted a picture. Smith's Twitter post read: "Ducked off to Dubai for a couple of days in my 6 day break and discovered some magnificent Acai.."

Smith has been in India for a long time now and one could say that he needed a small change of scenery to recharge his batteries and lead Pune to the top in the IPL.
