    IPL Auction 2014: Delhi stretch their squad to 23 on final day

    A total of 154 players sold, including 50 overseas players, as the two-day IPL auction ended in Bangalore on Thursday, with Yuvraj Singh ending up as the top-earner, bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping Rs. 14 crore.

    Delhi Daredevils, who are building their team from a scratch, bought the most number of players (23) on the day one. Controversial batsman Kevin Pietersen, whose England career came to an abrupt end after a disastrous Ashes campaign earlier this month, fetched a huge Rs 9 crore purse, bought by Delhi Daredevils, the franchise he played for last season. Indian opener Murali Vijay and Dinesh Karthik were the another big name which was brought by DD on day one.

    Delhi were not shy of spending big on day two as well, as they brought talented Kedar Jadhav and New Zealand batsmen Ross Taylor for 2 crore each. Here is the full squad of Delhi Daredevils for IPL 7.
