James Anderson could face ban in spat row with Jadeja?

London: James Anderson put up a match-winning performance to help England win the third Test in Southampton, but could face ban of 2-4 Tests if found guilty during the hearing in the Ravindra Jadeja spat row that took place at Trent Bridge.

The hearing is taking place on Friday to decide the fate of Anderson after India leveled against him a Level 1 offence for 'abusing and pushing' Jadeja when the players were making their way back to the pavilion at lunch.

But England immediately hit back and charged Jadeja with a Level 3 offence to which ICC reacted by docking the Indian allrounder with 50 per cent of his match fees.

The Indian camp was pretty miffed with the decision and have filed an appeal with the ICC against the decision, which also will be decided on Friday. Anderson finds himself in troubled waters as BCCI claims to have the video of the altercation.
