Senior Congress leader and Defence Minister A K Antony on Thursday said Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan, instead of highlighting his government's achievements on the eve of elections, is busy targeting the Congress. He said Keralites will see through this and after May 13, there will be a UDF government in Kerala.
Trying to pacify the Congress rebels in Kerala, Antony said Rahul Gandhi's choice of candidates will be an asset to the party. The leaders who have been denied candidature will be given party posts considering Kerala as a special case, he said.
Antony said there is no confusion in the Kerala Congress regarding the chief ministerial candidate. We will elect the leader of the government unanimously with the help of party president Sonia Gandhi, he said.
