    Ranji, Group C, Round 4, Day 3: Andhra, Services claim victories

    Andhra notched up their second outright victory of this Ranji season by thrashing hapless Jammu & Kashmir (J & K) by an innings and 15 runs. Andhra earned seven points from the match (one bonus point for an innings victory). J & K were shot out for 222 in their second innings in response to Andhra's total of 390. J & K were rolled over for 153 in their first innings.

    In Malappuram, Kerala are reeling at 249 for 6 at stumps on day three in reply to Goa's first innings total of 512 for 8 dec. Apart from their opener Abhishek Hegde, no Kerala batsman showed resistance and they're most likely to concede a first innings lead to Goa.

    In Ranchi, Himachal Pradesh (HP) grabbed the first innings lead against Jharkhand to ensure three points. Rishi Dhawan, who bagged six wickets in Jharkhand's first innings, shone with the bat as well and compiled a fine 128 as HP declared their first innings at 442 for 7. Jharkhand were bowled out for 236 in their first innings despite a ton by Saurabh Tiwary.
