Bhubaneswar: Prasanth Kumar missed out on a hundred while Hanuma Vihari also hit an unbeaten half-century as Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh split points following a draw in their rain-hit Group C match, here on Sunday.

Beginning the day at 47 for one, Andhra ended at 167 for one with Prasanth scoring 93 and skipper Vihari 68 as the two players added 120 runs to their overnight total.

Himachal Pradesh had scored 357 in their first innings.

The entire second day was washed out while less than 30 overs could be bowled on the third day.

The match was destined for a drab draw.

Prasanth's 93 came off 191 balls with eight fours and a six while Vihari took 149 balls for his 68 that had nine shots to the fence.

Bowlers lead Hyderabad to nine-wicket win over Goa

The bowlers, led by paceman M Ravi Kumar, scripted Hyderabad's impressive nine-wicket win by bundling out Goa for 258 in their second innings on the fourth and final day of their Ranji Trophy Group C match.

Goa, who conceded a 224-run first innings lead, needed to bat through the day to save the match but despite skipper Sagun Kamat (55) and Saurabh Bandekar (51) fighting knocks the side cracked under pressure.

Hyderabad needed only 35 tuns to win and take six points which they did by losing just one wicket. Opener Tanmay agarwal scored an unbeaten 27 to complete the formalities.

Ravi Agarwal removed both the Goan openers in his three- wicket haul while Chama Milind, Mehdi Hasan and Vishal Sharma took two wickets apiece.
