Sachin always close to milestones: Dhoni

Sydney: India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni feels that Sachin Tendulkar has been dealing with pressure throughout his career and that the much-anticipated 100th ton is just another milestone that has come along the way.

"It's not for the first time that he is close to a milestone. It may happen in this match or next match or next series. I don't think he thinks too much about it," Dhoni said.

"There is pressure of failure and there is pressure of performance. I think he is under pressure of performance. He never talks about it. Playing for 22 years, he has always been close to milestones," he said.

Dhoni was confident that the Indians would bounce back from their defeat in Melbourne, saying that the team had recovered from such defeats in the past.

"We have always bounced back and Australia will have to keep pressure on our batting and bowling at the same time. So it's just that we have lost the first Test and look to improve in the second.''

In cricket, you have to be good in all departments together. I am not worried too much. If you see the kind of players we have...we have got the experience in all departments. There are plenty of positives," he said.

Dhoni also said that he did not believe in changing his technique to play himself back into form.

"I don't look to do too much adjustments. It's very difficult to change your technique for a series. It's important to adapt and avoid deliveries that can get you out. Can't change everything I have."
