Team India ends away-day blues, England winless in 10 Tests

London: India finally won their first away Test in more than three years as they defeated England by 95 runs at Lord's on Monday.

Victory ended India's run of 15 successive Tests without an away win.

This success, in the second Test of a five-match campaign, also put India 1-0 up in the series after the opening draw at Trent Bridge.

This was India's first Test match win on foreign soil since they beat the West Indies by 63 runs in Kingston in June 2011, a sequence encompassing 10 defeats and five draws.
