    Wayne Parnell troubled with irregular heartbeat problem

    South African allrounder Wayne Parnell is still awaiting results of some cardio tests after he left the field during South Afirca A's four-day match against India A past week complaining breathing problem.

    Following the problem Parnell spent two nights in hospital and underwent a number of tests, ESPNcricinfo reported on Wednesday. According to doctors they needed at least a week to conclude the diagnosis.

    "Wayne had some discomfort in the chest and he was found to have had an irregular heartbeat," Mohammed Moosajee, South Africa's team manager, was quoted as saying. "At the moment, the tests have found that he has settled down and now it's just about discovering what's wrong," he said.

    Moosajee, who is also a medical doctor, said Parnell is suffering from either pericarditis or myocarditi.

    Parnell last represented South Africa in a T20 international against Sri Lanka at Hambantota early this month.
