Will not compromise on pace, says Aaron

Jamshedpur: Confident of getting back to action within a month's time, India speedster Varun Aaron said there is no question of compromising on speed.

"I will be fully fit in a month and will be back in action," Aaron said when asked about the injury he had suffered during the ODI series against West Indies at home.

"The last two medical reports have been good and I am undergoing specialised training in National Cricket Academy," he added.

The 22-year-old fast bowler from Jharkhand, who was ruled out of Test series in Australia due to a stress reaction on his back after the injury, said after recovering he would look to maintain his speed.

"I am not going to compromise on speed and I am confident of maintaining my speed soon."

Aaron was here Saturday to take part in a programme organised by Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) with teachers of various schools to promote cricket in the city.
