Yuvraj and Zaheer fighting tooth and nail for comeback

Many might have written them off for making a comeback to the Indian team, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan - both were part of India's victorious campaign in ICC World Cup in 2011 - are not leaving any stone unturned for a recall. In an attempt to make their way back, both are reportedly working in France with renowned trainer Tim Exeter, who has got experience to work with the likes of Manchester United's star Ryan Giggs and other top rugby players.

In some of the pictures posted by Exeter on his twitter id @MetasportAP, Yuvraj and Zaheer are seen working in the gym, doing weight training and getting involved in roving and beach running. Both the players, along with veteran batsman Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir were dropped by the selectors, deciding to give the youngsters a go keeping in mind the 2015 ICC World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

While Yuvraj, 31, last played for India in an ODI against England in January this year, the 34-year-old Zaheer made his last appearance in the Kolkata Test against England in December 2012.

Both the players are said to be staying as paying guests with a local family in Brive-la-Gaillarde, Southern France. It is also said that they are undergoing a 42-day rigorous training course

"This training schedule of 4-5 hours every day is extremely exhausting and leaves you drained. But with each passing day I am feeling fitter and stronger," Yuvraj was quoted as saying.
