    Commentary (West Indies innings)

So that's it from all of us here. We hope you enjoyed our coverage, do join us for the final between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka on 27th November at 1300 IST. Until then, it's goodbye and take care!

West Indies should really be disappointed with the way things have shaped up for them. They began with a thumping win against Sri Lanka but it was against Zimbabwe itself that they started losing the plot. They tied the game against the hosts needing 4 in the last over and in their previous game they could not score 3 in 3. Despite playing like a dominating team, they have made silly but game-changing mistakes. Holder will hope they learn and get better ahead. Zimbabwe though will be delighted with the win and will be looking forward to the final.

Man of the match, TENDAI CHISORO starts off by saying that it didn't matter if he was Man of the Match or not and is happy to be part of the winning team, giving the crowd something to smile about. Confesses that he was not worried about opening the bowling since he has done that in T20s. Mentions that they needed to pick early wickets and was happy to have contributed helping the team pick them.

Zimbabwe captain, GRAEME CREMER is really delighted with the way things have panned out. Agrees that they were under the pump with the bat but managed to come out soaring. On the wicket, he says it got wet and didn't spin much but still his bowlers did a fabulous job. Feels West Indies were unlucky all throughout the tournament and it's sad to see them getting knocked out. On the finals, he wants the weather to be kind and informs his side is ready for it and expects a full house on Sunday here in Bulawayo.

West Indies skipper, JASON HOLDER is really disappointed on not being able to finish off the game. Credits Zimbabwe for the way they have played today and gives a special mention to Raza for that outstanding innings. Feels they lacked the killer instincts and that his team is trying to gel together. Emphasizes on the mistakes committed in the last game against Sri Lanka but in the end blames themselves for not doing well. Further says that he is trying to lead from the front and acknowledges that he did decently. Ends by thanking the Zimbabwean crowd for the support and hospitality.

Zimbabwe knew bowling the Windies out was the only way forward and they began with aplomb with Chisoro taking two wickets in his first spell. Williams dismissed Hope while Ervine caught Kraigg Brathwaite short of the crease with an amazing run out to pile on the agony. Carter's enterprising knock kept the Windies in the game but with the rain falling, they knew they had to play catch up and Powell perished attempting the big shot. Holder came out swinging and got a few shots going before the rain had the final say and Zimbabwe rightly won the game by DLS method. West Indies can complain all they want but if you let off the opposition regularly, you are not setting a good precedent for yourself.

West Indies have made a habit of losing the plot of the game after being in a dominant position and today was no different. They had Zimbabwe on the mat at 7 for 89 but Holder probably thought too far ahead and let the game dawdle with some insipid captaincy. Sikandar Raza made them pay with an unbeaten knock of 76 runs with handy contributions from the lower order.

2100 IST update - That's it then, the rain has had the final say and ZIMBABWE are through to the finals! The umpires had a chat with the two captains and the game is now done and dusted. ZIMBABWE WIN BY 5 RUNS! (DLS METHOD)

2040 IST update - The cut-off time for a restart is 2100 IST which means we still have 20 minutes from now. However, resumption from hereon looks unlikely and we can only hope for the best...

1935 IST - There was a drizzle since a very long time and it has picked up pace. The umpires get together and have asked the players to trudge off. The covers have been hauled in. Earlier, when the drizzle was on West Indies wouldn't have minded it but now it's vice versa. They are not happy one bit but they have no one else to blame. ZIMBABWE ARE AHEAD BY 5 RUNS ON DLS METHOD and if the rain doesn't stop, the hosts will go through to the finals. Stay with us for the latest update.

The ball skies down to long off for a good catch. The crowd is jubilant and why not, this is some mediocre batting from West Indies. Ervine was the catcher there. Powell has to go back. 93/5

ROVMAN POWELL is the new man in.

17.4 S Raza to J Carter, OUT! Run Out! Craig gets the better of Kraigg! Brilliant piece of fielding, this. It reminded me of Temba Bavuma who affected a run out of David Warner in the on-going Test series in Australia. Coming to the ball, it was a loopy ball around middle and off, Carter pushes it towards the off side and Brathwaite calls for a single. Ervine gets to the ball, picks it up and in one motion he flicks a throw at the striker's end. Much to his delight, it even hits the timber. Zimbabwe were confident that they have got their man but the umpire takes it upstairs. Replays show Kraigg is well short of his ground. A crucial stand has been broken. 70/4

Lewis gets back to flick but misses and is rapped on the pads right in front of the stumps. Tendai turns back to appeal and the umpire raises his finger. Evin immediately takes the review and the only thing that would have saved him would be an inside edge. Replays show there is no wood and the Ball-Tracker shows the impact in line and it would have gone on to hit the middle stick. West Indies have now lost both their openers. 12/2

Evin Lewis is given out LBW but he opts for the review straightaway. Looks plumb to the naked eye. Is there any bat? Let's wait and find out...
