Amitabh Bachchan, an automobile buff, unveiled DC Avanti a creation of automotive designer Dilip Chabaria. "I am very happy to promote this car. Me and Dilip go a long way. We have mutual respect and interest for each other's work. I think what he has been doing is amazing and a talent like him should be encouraged," he said.
The 69-year-old actor hailed the 25 lakh car as the country's first super car. "With this car, we can now prove to the world that India is no less than any other country. I hope DC continues to do the good work and make us proud," Bachchan added. My first bike was an Yamaha RD 315 and it all started from there," said John while unveiling the first 'she' Yamaha in pink.
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is the brand ambassador to represent the Nissan brand in India, also stopped by for a visit to the company pavilion at the Expo.
