Renault Duster is one of the promising compact SUVs in India and competes against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport and Hyundai Creta. While the SUV market is flooded with such offerings, the pick-up truck segment is yet to see some magic unfold.

An independent customizer in India thought of mix-matching the two concepts and the result is a rather mesmerizing Renault Duster Pick-Up vehicle. The pictures came-in from Kerala and shared by a Facebook page called Stay Tuned India.

Interestingly, it’s the pre-facelift model used for the customization work, making this particular look brilliant, asking for an official mod-job like this. Just so you know, Renault sells Duster Oroch pick-up exclusively in Latin America.

As seen in the images, the upper C-portion of the Duster has been chopped-off to make way for a custom tailgate. Other mod-jobs include an off-road-spec bumper up front, a bumper guard with high-intensity fog lamps and DRL strips, Thule roof box, custom grey exterior paint, chunkier tyres and alloy rims, bicycle mount and a custom rear windshield with defogger.

Renault Duster on heavy discounts!

No images of the interiors are being shared. The Duster is powered by a 1.5L K9K dCi turbodiesel motor and this one has been tuned by RedBandRacing Performance. Th result is a staggering 139 bhp and 320 Nm (up by 21 bhp and 72 Nm of the standard Duster).

We would really like to see this kind of pick-up come to life some day in India. For now, you can feast your eyes on this modified Renault Duster.
