This must be seen in the backdrop of PM Modi’s demonetization scheme, which was lauded by Nitish Kumar as a good way to curb black money. Lulu Prasad Yadav, on the other hand, has been very vocal in his criticism of PM Modi and demonetization.

Remember Sonar Gupta? Yes, the one who was reportedly bewafaa (unfaithful).

Ms Gupta now seems to have found a kindred spirit in Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who, if some reports are to be believed, is likely to commit Bewafaii to his friend and political ally Lalu Prasad Yadav.

The photograph of a Rs 10 note on which Nitish Kumar has been accused of being 'faithless' by RJD chief Lalu Yadav has gone viral on social media.

This must be seen in the backdrop of PM Modi's demonetization scheme, which was lauded by Nitish Kumar as a good way to curb black money. Lulu Prasad Yadav, on the other hand, has been very vocal in his criticism of PM Modi and demonetisation.

The diametrically opposite reaction has quite clearly has led to uneasiness in the RJD-(JDU)-Congress Mahagathbandan, which so emphatically trounced the BJP in the state election, the result of which was declared almost exactly a year from Modi's Nov 8 declaration.

Be it Sonam Gupta or Nitish Kumar, one must wonder is everything actually fair in love and war? Or politics, for that matter.
