India is battling with a number of social evils from crimes against women to corruption. There are several other issues that irk the common man. While deforestation is driving the dwindling wildlife to the cities, the lack of civic sense is evident from all the betel-stained walls you see on the streets.

A Facebook page called 'The Minimalist' has created a series of illustrations about the real meanings of brand taglines in India. This satirical album is layered with sarcasm as it fuses brand taglines and the issues that India is battling.

The creators of this series are two fourth-year undergraduate students from IIT Powai, Sahil Vaidya and Chirag Gander. The self taught duo in the field of Design and Advertising recently won the Kyoorius Red Elephant Award, the highest national award for students in the field of creativity.

'We were thinking and commenting on some issues in our country when we suddenly realized that a couple of our comments actually came close to some brand taglines and that is where the idea came from,' says Chirag Gander about the idea behind this album. These photos are being shared widely on Facebook.
