Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a digitisation mission these days. He forced a large number of Indians to take the first shaky steps towards a cashless future by banning Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. In speech after speech, he told people to use their smartphones for purposes other than relaying inane WhatsApp forwards.

He also issued a farmaan to his ministers and party colleagues to promote the use of digital wallets.

Now, that has put many of his party colleagues in a tizzy. Many of whom do not themselves know to use it, let alone teach others.

One such minister, a veteran in his mid seventies from the battleground state of Uttar Pradesh, was spotted asking reporters how a digital wallet works. Still failing to come to terms after a few rounds of impromptu tutorials he asked his OSD to download Paytm on his phone and teach him how to use it.

"At this age, when I am counting my days, I have to learn how to use a digital wallet. How can I teach this to the villagers in my constituency," he was heard muttering.

And then there was another thing he was concerned about: If he is going to seek someone's help every time to operate his digital wallet, how is he going to keep his financial matters personal?
