Cooper made a name for himself through various roles on TV. He is working for TV since 1999 while he debuted in films in 2001.

Who wouldn't want to work with a director like Steven Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis knew that this is his chance. His dedication has paid well in 'Lincoln'.

Hugh Jackman is lately emerging as a fantastic actor. He is growing in stature with every film and this Oscar nomination for 'Les Miserables' has come just at the right time for him.

Joaquin Phoenix is just 38 year old but his body of work is very impressive. He has been appreciated for his performance in films such as 'Gladiator' and 'The Master'.

The last actor to be featured on this list is Denzel Washington, and we still remember for his role in 'American Gangster' and 'Crimson Tide'
