Mumbai: Noted actor Anupam Kher has lent his voice to the character of 'Shakuni mama' in animation film 'Mahabharat'.

Several big names from the industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Sunny Deol have lent their voices for characters in producer Jayanti Lal Gada's 'Mahabharat'.

The latest to join the cast is veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has done a voice over for 'Shakuni mama'. 'Shakuni', believed to be an intelligent but a devious man, was known for masterminding the infamous game of dice in the epic Mahabharat.

Kher requested the makers of the movie to use the original sound of the dice generated during the dubbing of his character and not to create a sound mix of the same.
