The muhurath of Kannada film 'Kaddipudi' starring Shivaraj Kumar and Radhika Pandit turned out to be a grand affair
The muhurath of Swayamvara Chandru's new film 'Kaddipudi' directed by Soori and starring Shivaraj Kumar and Radhika Pandit held on Thursday morning was a grand affair. The presence of many big Kannada actors and celebrities. The muhurath was held at the famous Banashankari Temple in Sarakki.
But when will the shooting of the film will start?
Chandru says that since he had planned a muhurath on an auspicious day, he did the pooja and muhurath a day before the Vara Mahalakshmi festival day. He says that the regular shooting of the film may start by August end or September.
Director Suri says that his new film with Shivaraj Kumar is a culmination of dreams he had since many years. He said he wanted to do some thing realistic but still out of the box film with Shivanna and had written a script which was able to realise his dreams.
The photo shoot he did in the busy bylanes of Basavanagudi market place also provided him some inputs. The film deals with the trails and tribulations of the protogonist Anand's life and his love story with Uma, a Junior artist working for films.
'With this story I am not trying to break the pattern that he had followed earlier, but I will also try to include some novelty elements. With an artist like Shivanna at the helm, I can work out many possibilities' added Suri. But knowing Soori it can be safely presumed that the film's story will contain elements of Underworld, love and also sentiments. Soori has always been known for his shot composing and picturisation of songs and fights.
"This may well be a film with some more commercial elements which I have not tried' says Soori in a chat with IBN Live.
Suri said that he has more or less settled for the same technical team he had in his previous films, but he is now working with an eminent cinemetographer like S.Krishna for the first time. "I will plan the picturisation of songs only after music composer Hari Krishna delivers me the tunes' says Suri.
