Director Srikanth Iyyengar's April Fool, starring Jagapathi Babu and Bhumika Chawla, was Pressmeet today. The event was attended by Ramesh Prasad, Lakshmi Manchu, Gulshan Grover, Bharath Thakur (Bhumika's husband), Tammareddy and others.
Ramesh Prasad wished that Seema Azaruddin (producer) will achieve all the success in Tollywood. "I was stunned to watch Bhumika's performance in Gandhi - My Father. She is a great actress," he said. C Kalyan said, "I am aware of the film's story. This is a performance-oriented role for Bhumika. I wish this joint production by Sudha Entertainment and Karthal Productions all the success."
Producer GL Srinivas said, "Our film belongs to the genre socio-fantasy absurd comedy. April Fool has a connection to the story. Regular shooting will begin from July 5. Randhir and Srushti are playing other key roles. Gulshan Grover, who was seen in negative roles in over 460 films, will be seen as a mad boy in the movie. While the talkie part will be shot in Hyderabad, the songs will be shot in beautiful locations across India."
Bhumika is looking forward to give her best performance ever. "People are terming this movie as my comeback film. If I am in your hearts, this cannot be called a comeback film for me. If not, this is definitely a comeback film."
The director comes with the record of making some successful documentaries in the past. "I have known the producers for the past 3 years. We are roping in the best technicians. I thank the producers for giving me this opportunity."
