The leader of Opposition, Lok Sabha, has alleged that the Central government used the central force to threaten Congress MLAs currently holed up in a resort, owned by DK Shivakumar, Karnataka’s power minister.

Contrary to BJP's assertion, Kharge alleged that the MLAs were taken out of the resort. They were "threatened", questioned, and asked why they were there.

He added that the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, is using "muscle power", adding, "they have created an atmosphere of fear", which isn't good for democracy.

The Congress once again asserted that BJP was using "money" to defeat Congress in Gujarat Rajya Sabha election, something Ahmed Patel alluded to this morning. "I question the timing of these raids. This has been done to demoralise Congress."
