Parliament: PM Modi in House, Opposition Seeks Reply on Note Ban

After repeated demands that Prime Minister speak in the House over the demonetisation move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did make his appearance in Rajya Sabha on Thursday.

Parliament again began on a stormy note on Thursday after TMC MPs claimed that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Indigo flight was short on fuel and wasn't allowed to land putting the life of the CM and other passengers at risk.
