The SSC CGL 2016 Result will be released by 11PM tonight as notified by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on its official website ssc.nic.in. SSC was supposed to declare the result by 6PM on Friday as per earlier notification, however, it just got delayed till 11PM. The official notification can be accessed at the below url:

In the notice SSC has also mentioned ‘Audit Paras and Pending Legal Court Cases in CR Region Reviewed on 4.8.2017’

Once the SSC CGL 2016 Final Result is released the candidates who had appeared in SSC CGL 2016 Tier 3 can check the results by following the instructions given below:

How to Check SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination Results 2016?

Step 1: Visit the official website ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link ‘Results’.

Step 3: Click on the link “Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier 3) Examination.

Step 4: Check for your Roll Number/Name in the list.

Step 5: Download and Take a Print Out for further reference.

An All India Merit List will be published for each category of post. The Commission appoints the qualified candidates to the category of posts according to the number of vacancies available, considering the options given.

The Merit List is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and the options given by the candidates during documents verification process. As per the notification the option /preference once given by the candidates may be treated as Final and Irreversible.

The candidates have to qualify in Tier 1, 2 and 3 examination in order to be in the final merit list for SSC. Successful candidates are then eligible to attend the Tier 4 examination i.e. Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). All candidates have to be present for the document verification process and have to furnish original documents for verification.
