UGC NET 2017: CBSE to Release Detailed Notification today on cbsenet.nic.in

The online registration window opens on August 11th for one month and will close on September 11th 2017. The candidates can pay the fee until 12th of September.
The detailed notification for UGC NET 2017 is expected to be released today by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on its official website cbsenet.nic.in.

The application forms will be available for University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 online registration from the 11th of August and candidates keen on applying for the Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professorship at various government approved institutions can check today’s detailed notification to know the procedure, eligibility and further schedule for UGC NET 2017.

This year, CBSE has made it mandatory to furnish Aadhaar Card details while applying online for UGC NET 2017. The move has been taken by CBSE to obviate the need of multiple documents for identity verification as well as maintain accuracy in candidate’s details.

However candidates of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya can furnish their passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid Govt.

From this year, CBSE has made Aadhaar card mandatory to apply for the NET. However, these provisions are not applicable in Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya. CBSE has notified that the candidates from these state need to enter the passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid government identity number.
