The VTU BE, B Tech Non-CBCS 7 and 8 Semester Exam Results 2017 have been declared by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka last night at 9:59 PM on its official website results.vtu.ac.in. The students who had appeared in the Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology non-CBCS scheme can check their VII and VIII semester results by following the instructions below:

Step 3: On next page, Enter Your USN number and Submit

Step 4: Download the result and take a printout for further reference.

The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has already delayed the results of students from BE/B.Tech (Non-CBCS) 7 and 8 Semesters. The students have been at a loss due to delayed VTU results as they are unable to complete their admission process in various programs for further education, foreign universities as well as not able to get jobs until they had the passing certificates. VTU had declared the results of Civil and Mechanical engineering student from VIII Semester however was not able to declare all results for other streams.

The students from various engineering colleges that come under the purview of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) are planning for a statewide protest on August 18 this month due to their concerns on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) that VTU follows.
