Watch: How the original 'Chashme Buddoor' was restored
Even after three decades of its release, 'Chashme Buddoor' remains the moviegoers' favourite classic comedy.

New Delhi: The digitally restored version of director Sai Paranjpye's 1981 film 'Chashme Buddoor' is all set to be released on April 5, 2013. The film stars Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani in the lead roles.

The technical team working on the print of the film has worked hard to come up with a fresh version of the film, which appears like the original print.

The film is brought back by PVR Director's Rare, an initiative to provide an alternate platform to innovative films. Even after over three decades of its release, 'Chashme Buddoor' remains the moviegoers' favourite classic comedy.

The restored version is re-releasing on the same date on which David Dhawan's remake of 'Chashme Buddoor' is hitting the screens.(With inputs from IANS)
