Los Angeles: Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone's three daughters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet made history by jointly being named Miss Golden Globes 2017 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
It is the first time multiple siblings have been chosen for the role, reports eonline.com.
The news was announced on the official Golden Globes Instagram account on Thursday. A photo of the father with his three daughters was shared with a caption: "Breaking! This year the 2017 Miss Golden Globe will be Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, and Scarlet Stallone, the daughters of Sylvester Stallone!"
The girls also released a joint statement, expressing their excitement.
"We are thrilled to not only be part of the Golden Globe tradition, but to be making history as the first set of siblings ever chosen for the title and duties," they said.
The honour is traditionally the son or daughter of one of the industry's most respected actors, directors or producers and assists during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
As President of the HFPA, Lorenzo Soria, said: "For the first time in Golden Globe history, we have proudly selected not one but three Miss Golden Globe representatives. The Stallone sisters will continue our time honoured tradition of handing out the statuettes at the awards ceremony.
"Each of the lovely young women in the triad have had success whether it be in academics, sports or pursuing a modelling career. With being raised by such role models Sylvester and Jennifer, we can't wait to see what the future has in store for these ladies."
