As Ranveer Singh and Vani Kapoor fans wait for their upcoming film Befikre to release on December 9, the stars were in the national capital on Wednesday for the launch of the movie's new wedding song Khulke Dulke.

Although the song was launched at the Delhi Law Faculty in the day, Yash Raj Films along with Alexandre Ziegler, the French Ambassador to India, co-hosted a soirée to celebrate the film along with Singh and Kapoor, at the French Embassy in New Delhi.

The evening which began with a fashion show - The Ivory Kiss, Spring-Summer 2017 couture collection by DIVA'NI - ended with a fabulous, high energy performance by Ranveer and Vaani to the film's bhangra number Khulke Dulke.

Towards the end of the evening, both Ranveer and Vaani, who were slaying in their ethnic attires, interacted with the media.

"It is (Befikre) reflective of the times I would say. There has been a generational shift at how the youth today looks upon at romantic relationships and I think the film is a representative of that," said Singh when asked if his upcoming film was progressive like YRF's Lamhe which recently completed 25 years. He added that Lamhe was in fact one of his favourite romances of all time before breaking into the movie's song Kabhi Main Kahu.

On being asked how was it like being directed by Aditya Chopra, Singh said, "He is one of the most fascinating people I have ever collaborated with in my life. What a creative mind! I really hope and pray to God that he directs more often and directs like 2 films in a year and I am the leading man in all of them and that all of them are shot in Paris."

And because to the two danced to the film's new wedding track, a question on what kind of wedding would Ranveer like to have was a must.

"It would be like a non-stop party. I would like people to just have a blast. I just want people to have a blast. I would like to have my wedding on an island, if I can afford it by then. I would like to have trance party where everybody is tripping out," said Singh.

He added that apart from Paris if he had to choose a city to propose to his lady love then it would be Mumbai, "because home is where the heart is."

Extensively shot in Paris as well as in Cannes and Picardie, Befikre is steeped in the Parisian spirit of romance and celebrates sensual, carefree love.
