PM to pay last respects to Arunachal CM
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accompanied by Home Minister P Chidambaram left for Itanagar on Friday.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accompanied by Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday left for Itanagar to pay last respects to late Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu who died in a chopper crash.

Apart from paying his tributes to the departed leader, the Prime Minister will meet the family members of Khandu. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are also expected to met Governor J J Sigh, Khandu's cabinet colleagues and other top officials.

Khandu was killed along with four others in a helicopter crash in Tawang district on Saturday last.
