Roger Federer Demands 'More Respect' from Bill Gates

Legendary Swiss tennis player Roger Federer and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates are all set to play a charity match on April 29 in Seattle to support children's education in Africa.

New Delhi: Legendary Swiss tennis player Roger Federer and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates are all set to play a charity match on April 29 in Seattle to support children's education in Africa.

In the exhibition event, Federer will first team up with Gates to play a one-set match against American tennis star John Isner. The 18-time grand slam champion will then square-off against Isner in a best of three-set match.All the proceeds from the event will go to Roger Federer Charitable Fund and Roger Federer Foundation.

However, it's the promo of the event that has really caught the imagination of the world after it was shared by Federer on social media.

In the video, Fedex is seen practicing in an empty court, with just Bill Gates in the stands. Later in the video, Gates goes onto say that if Federer was to come to Seattle, the stands would have been full with fans cheering him on.

The Swiss posted the video on twitter with a caption that will leave you in splits. Federer's twitter post read: "Some fans have no respect..."

Roger Federer has been on a sensatinal run so far in this calendar season. After beating Rafael Nadal in the final of the Australian Open 2017, Federer did the 'Sunshine double' by winning the Indian Wells as well as the Miami Open title recently.

The 35-year-old also returned into the top-5 in the recently released ATP rankings, as after his win in Miami, Federer jumped to number fourth in the world.
