True to the numerous rumours preceding it, "Assassin's Creed Origins" is set in ancient Egypt, expanding on the historical action franchise's concept with a number of tweaks to an established and successful formula.

After taking a leave of absence in 2016, "Assassin's Creed" is back with a dive into Egyptian history in "Assassin's Creed Origins."

Players will assume the identity of Bayek, an eagle carrying warrior, whose exploits lead to the foundation of a secret faction that drives the "Assassin's Creed" narrative forward.
