Lenovo-owned Motorola is set to launch the high-end variant of Moto C, dubbed Moto C Plus Android smartphone in India.

It is pertinent to note that Moto C and Moto C Plus would now represent the budget line-up of Motorola and would replace the popular Moto E range of smartphones.

The company posted on its official Twitter and Facebook account about the imminent launch of Moto C Plus. Moto India's tweet read: "Yes, it'll give you the latest, clean and customizable smartphone experience. Yes, it's THAT cool! #MotoCPlus #ComingSoon."



The upcoming smartphone will come with an incredible battery backup, which should be capable of delivering nearly 30 hours of juice. The Moto C Plus smartphone was launched in US with 4000mAh battery, the Indian version of the device could also come with the same battery.

The Moto C Plus sports a 5-inch display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.

In terms of camera specs, the Moto C Plus sports an 8-megapixel primary camera, which comes with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, and a LED flash and is backed by a beefy 4000mAh battery, which would be removable.

It will reportedly ship with a 10W rapid charger for charging the battery quickly.

The Moto C Plus runs Android 7 Nougat OS. It was introduced at a starting price of €119 (around Rs 8,400) with 1GB RAM/16GB ROM.
