Samsung has added the Galaxy J7 Max to the budget Android smartphone segment, which is facing stiff competition from offerings by Chinese smartphone makers. The latest addition to the segment is the Nokia 6 Android smartphone, which costs Rs 14,999; the Galaxy J7 Max has been launched at Rs 17,900.

The budget segment in India has a huge catalogue to choose from in terms of specs, build quality and price. We bring you a comparison of the spec-sheet of the J7 Max and Nokia 6 though, there is a slight difference between the prices of the smartphones.

Nokia 6

The new Nokia 6 Android smartphone was launched amid much fanfare and comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 2.5D screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone sports a metal unibody with a fingerprint sensor below the display.

Nokia 6 runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat but will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Chipset.

The Nokia 6 will come with a 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB.

Nokia 6 features a 3,000 mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Nokia 6 features a 16-megapixel primary snapper with phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the phone.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max

The Galaxy J7 Max runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and sports a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.

It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The storage is further expandable via a microSD card slot as well.

In terms of camera, Samsung Galaxy J7 Max packs a 13-megapixel rear and front sensors with f/1.7 aperture and f/1.9 aperture respectively, and flash support on both ends.
