Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab S3 in India in an event in Bengaluru today. First unveiled at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona, the Galaxy Tab S3 comes with an S-Pen Stylus and features a new glass design in the Samsung Tab family.

The Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and runs on a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor. It also offers video playback features in HDR.

The Tab S3 comes with a 4GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage option, which is further expandable up to 256GB. Camera specifications include a 13-megapixel primary camera with Auto Focus and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. The Galaxy Tab S3 also offers USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with a Fast-charging option.

Other features of the Galaxy Tab S3 include an Accelerometer, RGB Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor and a Geometric Sensor. It comes with support for Samsung Smart Switch, Samsung Notes, Air Command, Samsung Flow and an AKG-tuned quad-speaker system.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been launched at a price of Rs 47,990 and will be available in two colours – Black and Silver, with an S-Pen Stylus included in the box. Launch offers include a double data offer through which Reliance Jio users can avail 28GB + 2GB of data every month at a price of Rs 309.

A Book cover for the Galaxy Tab S3 is also available for Rs 2,999 along with a Keyboard cover which has been priced at Rs 8,499.

Additionally, Samsung has offered a one-time screen replacement at a price of Rs 990, for any Galaxy Tab S3 bought before July 31, with a validity of 1-year from the date of purchase.
