The head-on collision between the government-operated bus heading to the northern town of Tamale and the cargo truck happened on Wednesday.
Police said a mini truck carrying a marriage party coming from Kandukur hit the bus coming from the opposite direction.
Eyewitnesses said that there were 45 people onboard the bus when the incident happened. While ten people died immediately on the spot, the remaining injured were rushed to the hospital.
The accident took place in south Delhi when the driver of the car lost control while overtaking a van.
