Born to Michael Middleton, who worked as a flight attendant before becoming a flight dispatcher for British Airways and Carole, a former flight attendant, Kate Middleton studied at St. Andrew's School in Berkshire. She later moved to Downe House School followed by her admission at Marlborough College and St. Andrews. It was St. Andrews where she met Prince Williams. Prince Williams and Kate kicked off their relationship as friends. The husband-wife duo dated secretly until a ski trip that happened in 2004.
In 2007, Middleton and Prince Williams parted ways after realizing that they weren't too close post their college days. However, the split lasted for a brief period. After a few months, they reunited and in 2010, Prince Williams proposed to Kate during a trip to Kenya.
