The only Hollywood release this week is the sequel of successful 1996 disaster film, 'Indeoendence Day'. Titled ' Independence Day: Resurgence', the film has been directed by Roland Emmerich.
The film stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward and William Fichtner.
The possibility of a sequel to 'Independence Day' was being discussed for a long time. The film's producer and writer, Dean Devlin, once stated that the world's reaction to the September 11 attacks influenced him to strongly consider making a sequel to the film.
