Mukehsh Bhatt co-owns Vishesh Films with his brother Mahesh Bhatt and the banner launched actors like Rohit Roy, Anu Aggarwal and John Abraham.
Be it 'Risk' or be it 'OUATIM', Hooda grabbed every chance with both hands but the industry kept overlooking his talent.
Filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt's son Vishesh, who is making his directorial debut with 'Murder 3', says the audience will not miss actor Emraan Hashmi this time, as Randeep Hooda fits the bill perfectly for the third installment of the franchise.
The franchise began in 2004 with 'Murder' directed by Anurag Basu starring Hashmi and Mallika Sherawat in the lead.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who was last seen in 'London, Paris, New York' with Ali Zafar, has also been roped in to be part of Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Boss'.
Bhatt camp's popular franchise 'Murder' series is back. But this time instead of Emraan Hashmi, the films, leading hero is Randeep Hooda.

Randeep Hooda is probably one of the more under-rated actors in Bollywood. He keeps coming up with good performances, but producers are still reluctant to feature him in the lead role.
His last two films, 'Jism 2' and 'Heroine' saw him giving scintillating performances, in fact, he emerged as the real force behind these two films.
'Jism 2' was not a well crafted film and it was flawed in almost every department sans music and camera department, but Hooda made his presence felt.
He is normally known for playing intense roles and he is doing this since 'D', his first film as hero.
Bhatt said 'Murder 3' was as important for them as 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was for Yash Raj Films or 'Maine Pyar Kiya' was for Rajshri.
Unlike 'Murder' and 'Murder 2', 'Murder 3' will not be an erotic film but will have sensuality, said Bhatt.
This is Aditi's first film with the Bhatts. while Randeep has worked with Vishesh Films in the past in films like 'Jannat' and 'Jism 3'.
'Murder 3' has a lot of hope pinned on these three actors and it remains to be seen if they pull it off for the Bhatts again.
So far, Aditi has played the female lead in a light-hearted comedy. It remains to be seen whether she fits into the intensity that is an intrinsic part of Bhatt films.
The first look of 'Murder 3' was startlingly similar to the poster of the horror comedy 'Jennifer's Body' starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. Both posters feature blood oozing from a pair of luscious red lips. This is a still from the film.
