Tamil actor Sri Murali was spotted at the press meet wearing a deep blue casual shirt.
Directed by filmmaker Balaji Sakthivel, 'Vazhakku En 18/9' has won the best Tamil feature film at 60th National Film Awards this year.
The film was also awarded the best film in the South Asian Film Festival this year.
Made on a shoe string budget, the film starred all newcomers such as actors Mithun Murali, Sri, Urmila Mahanta and Manisha Yadav.
In the film, cinematography is handled by Vijay Milton, while noted guitarist R Prasanna has scored the music.
Also the thriller had actors like Rithika, Goutham, Senthil, Sri, Kumaravel and Chinnasam playing key roles in the film.
The film 'Vazhakku En 18/9' was one of the best Tamil teen crime thriller of the year 2012.
The film also won the award for the best make-up artist.
'Vazhakku En 18/9' is the story of modern-day youth, whose lives are shackled by sex, lies and crime.
'Vazhakku Enn 18/9' which was released in May 2012 went onto receive critical acclaim and was later also dubbed in Telugu as 'Premalo Padithe'.
