The current series of events regarding the release of Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam', saw the Tamil film fraternity reacting strongly over it's ban by the Tamil Nadu Government
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa stuck to the decision of keeping the film off the screens in the state until the Muslim groups and actor Kamal Haasan reached an amicable agreement.
The meeting was held at State Home Secretary R Rajagopal's office and after a five hour long discussion, Haasan finally managed to get a green signal for his film, though with a few cuts and edits.
The South film fraternity has reacted sharply against banning of the film.
