While Indian mobile phone brands are battling it out in price and features, the entry of Chinese player Jiayu into the arena makes the battle even more interesting.
Jiayu plans to launch three Android phones in India, reports The Mobile Indian.
The entry level, dual-core and quad-core phones will be priced at Rs 3,000, Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 respectively.
The most interesting is the Jiayu G4, which promises top-of-the-line features at a price tag of only Rs 9000.
Jiayu G4 will come a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU based on Mediatek MT6589 chipset along with 2 GB RAM.
The phone has a 4.7 inch IPS panel with 1280x720 pixel resolution protected by Gorilla Glass 2.
The phone run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash and also a 3 megapixel front camera.
The Jiayu G4 has a 3000 mAH battery.
