Lenovo launched a wide range of smartphones - from entry-level to high-end - in India. These smartphones include K900, P780, S920, S820, A706 and A390. At 6.9mm, the K900 is claimed to be the thinnest phone in its class and weighs 162g. The company claims that the Lenovo K900 is the first smartphone to come powered by the Intel Z2580 processor, a dual core chip, which runs up to 2.0 GHz. The K900 has a 5.5-inch IPS display
BlackBerry launched its much-awaited keyboard-equipped BlackBerry Q10 in India at Rs 44,990. The phone includes a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen. The top-of-the-line QWERTY smartphone from BlackBerry is available in two colours - black and white. The device comes powered by a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor. Running the BlackBerry 10 OS, the phone has a 3.1-inch OLED touch display with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels.
HTC Desire U has made its way to India. The smartphone is available on the e-commerce site Flipkart.com for Rs 13,499. The website lists that the phone will be delivered in 7-8 business days.
HCL launched its latest tablet %u2013 HCL ME Tablet Connect 2G 2.0. Priced at Rs 8,499, the 7-inch tablet is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It runs Android Jelly Bean 4.1.
iBall has added another smartphone to its Android portfolio. The Andi 4.7G Cobalt is a 4.7-inch phone that runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It carries a price tag of Rs 19,995.
Intex silently introduced Cloud Z5, a 2G only Android smartphone with a 5-inch display. The phone is priced at Rs 6,899.
IT software startup company AppThoughtz launched a tablet, 'iTopper', which helps students of Class 11 and 12 develop insights into various subjects. Priced at Rs 10,000, the product comes in four versions.
