Chinese smartphone maker UMI launched its flagship smartphone, the X2 in India. It is available for Rs 14,000. The X2 is a follow-up to UMI's first smartphone, the X1.

Salora launched its first two Android tablets in India - Salora Pro Tab and Salora Pro Tab HD - priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 5,499. Both tablets feature a 7-inch display.
Byond launched a new smartphone in the market with a 5-inch screen. Named 'Byond B65', it is a dual SIM phone that runs Android 4.0 ICS operating system. It is priced at Rs 9,200.
