123. Bhanjanagar is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in South region of Odisha and falls in Ganjam district. Odisha is located in East India. Seat is unreserved.

This Rural constituency has 2,27,390 voters of which 1,18,658 are male and 1,08,732 are female and voters of the third gender.

In the 2019 Odisha Assembly elections, Bhanjanagar, recorded a voter turnout of 69.02%. The voter turnout in the 2014 Assembly elections was 68.81% and in 2009, 59.92% of Bhanjanagar's voters came out to elect their Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

In the 2014 Odisha state Assembly elections, Bikram Keshari Arukha of BJD won in this seat defeating INC's candidate by a margin of 31,701 votes which was 21.61% of the total votes polled. Bikram Keshari Arukha polled a total of 1,46,711 (76.5%) votes.

BJD's Bikram Keshari Arukha won this seat in the 2009 Odisha Assembly elections beating the DMK candidate by a margin of 73367 (62.01%) votes. Bikram Keshari Arukha polled 1,18,317 which was 76.5% of the total votes polled.

Bhanjanagar went to the polls in Phase 2 of the 2019 Odisha Assembly polls on Thursday, April 18, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
