47. Chandabali is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in Coastal region of Odisha and falls in Bhadrak district. Odisha is located in East India. Seat is unreserved.

This Rural constituency has 2,33,263 voters of which 1,23,203 are male and 1,10,060 are female and voters of the third gender.

In the 2019 Odisha Assembly elections, Chandabali, recorded a voter turnout of 75.81%. The voter turnout in the 2014 Assembly elections was 75.69% and in 2009, 68.28% of Chandabali's voters came out to elect their Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

In the 2014 Odisha state Assembly elections, Byomkesh Ray of BJD won in this seat defeating INC's candidate by a margin of 24,883 votes which was 15.97% of the total votes polled. Byomkesh Ray polled a total of 1,55,859 (43.57%) votes.

BJD's Bijaya Nayak won this seat in the 2009 Odisha Assembly elections beating the JMM candidate by a margin of 7613 (5.67%) votes. Bijaya Nayak polled 1,34,203 which was 43.57% of the total votes polled.

Chandabali went to the polls in Phase 4 of the 2019 Odisha Assembly polls on Monday, April 29, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
