122. Nayagarh is an Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in Coastal region of Odisha and falls in Nayagarh district. Odisha is located in East India. Seat is unreserved.

This Rural constituency has 2,18,803 voters of which 1,16,006 are male and 1,02,797 are female and voters of the third gender.

In the 2019 Odisha Assembly elections, Nayagarh, recorded a voter turnout of 70.08%. The voter turnout in the 2014 Assembly elections was 73.68% and in 2009, 67.74% of Nayagarh's voters came out to elect their Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).

In the 2014 Odisha state Assembly elections, Arun Kumar Sahoo of BJD won in this seat defeating INC's candidate by a margin of 20,867 votes which was 14.58% of the total votes polled. Arun Kumar Sahoo polled a total of 1,43,123 (54.25%) votes.

BJD's Arun Kumar Sahu won this seat in the 2009 Odisha Assembly elections beating the INC candidate by a margin of 27341 (22.11%) votes. Arun Kumar Sahu polled 1,23,681 which was 54.25% of the total votes polled.

Nayagarh went to the polls in Phase 3 of the 2019 Odisha Assembly polls on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. The election results for the seat are scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2019.
